Race Name: 2024 Wenling Golden Coast Trail  Race
Time: March 31, 2024

Start and Finish: Golden Beach, Shitang, Wenling, Zhejiang, China
Race introduction (the following information to be updated)
The 2024 Wenling Golden Coast Trail Race will start from the Golden Beach in Shitang Town and adopt a closed loop, mainly including the following categories with relevant time limits:

70K group: estimated to be about 68.87 km, with a climb of 3200 m, and a total closing time of 16 hours.
55K group: estimated to be about 51.52km with 2500m of climbing and a total closing time of 13 hours.
36K group: estimated to be about 38.8km, 1700m of climbing, total closing time of 9 hours.
25K group: estimated to be about 25.3km, 900m climb, total closing time 7 hours.
Note: The actual distance climb data and the corresponding closing time may be changed due to the construction of the course and other factors.

 

Participation Notice
Participants should know and abide by the following rules:

Participants should be aware of and comply with the following rules and regulations: the length of the distance and the riskiness of this cross-country race, and should be adequately prepared;
Be fully prepared for the following conditions:
# Knowing how to face and cope with the difficulties caused by the increase in altitude without external help, such as the night road, low temperature, high wind, thunderstorm, fog, rain and snow;

# Know how to cope with physical and psychological problems due to extreme fatigue, gastrointestinal problems, muscle and joint pains and other ailments when alone.

Be aware of the need to anticipate the difficulties that may be encountered in the wilderness and prepare in advance according to one's ability and condition, and the organizing committee will also provide appropriate assistance.
Must be at least 18 years old by the date of the race, have considerable experience in cross-country races, and be able to accept the rules and regulations of the race.
 

Stages
A stage is a section of the race route between two supply stations, where food, beverages and medical services are provided. The basic rules for stages are as follows:

All participants must carry mandatory equipment and pass along a specific course, which is usually recommended to be carried in a backpack with a numbered bib and cannot be changed. Race officials will check that the items carried by participants are in compliance with the race rules as they pass through specific stations. Participants are advised to be as friendly as possible if they are penalized or disqualified for breaking the mandatory equipment rules.
Drinks and food are usually provided at the supply stations. Drinking water can be used to fill up participants' water bottles or water bags (no bottled drinks will be provided at any of the stations). Participants should make sure that they have enough water and food with them when leaving the supply stations in order to ensure that they can arrive at the next supply station safely.
Race equipment (including mandatory equipment)
Participants are required to bring mandatory equipment for pre-race inspection (the list of mandatory equipment is the minimum requirement for participants. Participants should try to use clothes that can protect themselves from wind, rain and warmth in order to safeguard their lives on the race course).
Number bibs
Number bibs will be distributed with the race bag and must be clearly attached to the chest or abdomen during the race, and must not be covered by any other clothing, and must not cover the race sponsors' logos.
The number bib is the participant's pass for transportation, medical care, rest areas, bag storage and other race services.

Punching Points and Refill Points
All participants are required to wear their number bibs (with race chip attached) correctly, and those who fail to carry the race chip during the race will be penalized by the race.

All ambulance and service stations are under the control of the Organizing Committee. Participants wearing their number bibs will only be allowed to enter the feed stations, which are listed in the Race Guide and on the official website.

There are two types of Stations:

Simple Stations (drinks only): Drinking water, energy drinks, cola, coffee, tea, bananas and other simple meals;
Comprehensive resupply stations: including drinks from the above stations, as well as various flavors of congee, noodles, rice balls, steamed buns, coffee,, and bread.

Course Marking

Medical and Insurance

Whether there is a direct shuttle bus from the site to the start/finish;
Whether the retiree's health condition requires that he/she return to the start/finish as soon as possible;
For stops or medical points where only small vehicles are allowed:
# Consideration will be given to bringing participants back to the finish line with the closure and evacuation of the site;

# In the event that the race is terminated due to weather conditions, the Organizing Committee will return the participant from that site to the finish line as soon as possible.

When a participant decides to withdraw from the race midway, he/she is usually required to return to the previous or advance to the next service point and accept the withdrawal arrangement on his/her own. If he/she meets the finishing staff on the way back to the previous service point and does not want to follow the finishing staff to the next service point, he/she will be withdrawn by the finishing staff and his/her bracelet will be cut off. Supplementary Notes
  (a) Anyone who violates the following rules will be disqualified from the race
  1. Those without number bibs for this event
